In this book, Eragon and his dragon Saphira are faced with innumerable challenges that they fear they might not be ready for. War has taken over the country and Eragon and Saphira are the sole hope for victory. Whether they can live up to the position, they are not sure. Eragon and Saphira face frequent separation. Nasuada needs the dwarves’ alliance and only Eragon can ensure this. Things that Eragon does not know about, such as the source of Galbatorix’s power, come into plain view. The Varden, the dwarves, the elves, Eragon, Saphira, Oromis and Glaedr – can they rid the land of the mad king’s rule?

Brisingr is a wonderful book packed to the limit with surprises. Things you know for sure are proved false and you are not sure where the book will lead. Action and adventure filled, it’s sure to put you on tenterhooks as well as answer some really important unanswered questions. With a wonderful mix of joy, fear, action, surprise and revenge, ride alongside the awesome Dragon riders as secrets are revealed, people killed, and the good people come closer to their goal.
